Capturing the Social Summer Exhibition at The Sculpture Lounge

We began with the HŐME Photo Exhibition, held at The Sculpture Lounge, where a wide range of work was on display. Photographers and local artists came together, showcasing Huddersfield through the power of photography.

In addition, as a local event photographer in Huddersfield, I also enjoyed speaking with other professionals and enthusiasts. Moreover, it was inspiring to hear about their creative careers and to learn how photos can tell stories in so many different ways.

Documenting the Photo Walk Around Holmfirth

Following browsing the gallery, we set off on a photo walk and made our way up from The Sculpture Lounge up to Ramsdam Reservoir, sitting just within the Peak District National Park boundary. The two-hour walk was a perfect opportunity to capture the landscapes, season, and moments that make this area so photogenic.

Walking and shooting alongside other photographers also created a relaxed environment for conversation and collaboration. To finish, we returned to the venue for our picnic lunch.
